Are you tired of living in bondage to hurts, habits, and hang ups? The truth is that all men are born in the bondage of sin. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Because of our sin, there is a debt that must be paid for our sin and that debt is death. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23)
The good news is that Jesus paid this debt for us by His death on the cross. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Did you know, it doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done? Jesus doesn’t love some cleaned up, future version of you – Jesus loves you just like you are right now! He loves you so much that He has prepared a home in heaven for you. “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3).
There is no question about whether or not Jesus can set you free. The question is, are you ready to be set free? There is no amount of good works that you can do to be set free. All you must do is confess your sin to him, believe on Him, and trust Him for salvation. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
Are you ready to be set free? Are you ready for a new start? Are you willing to ask Jesus to save you? If so, pray, “Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I know I am bound by sin, and you alone can set me free. Please save me. Please change me. I trust you alone for salvation. Thank you for this great gift of salvation. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.”
The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
If you prayed that prayer and trusted Jesus for salvation, please call to let us know so we can help you learn more about following Jesus!
